Governor's Advisory Council for Refugees and Immigrants (GACRI)
GACRI was created in 1983 and is a group of volunteer appointed advisors charged with counseling the Governor on policy and programs for immigrants and refugees in the Commonwealth.

Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA Coalition)
The MIRA Coalition is made up of over 120 community, service, and labor organizations. MIRA works to advocate for the rights and opportunities of immigrants and refugees. In partnership with its members, MIRA advances this mission through education, training, leadership development, organizing, policy analysis and advocacy.

MA Office for Refugees and Immigrants
The Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants is a state agency which works to support the effective resettlement of refugees and the coordination of state policies and programs that affect and serve immigrants; to promote the full participation of refugees and immigrants in the economic, civic, social and cultural life of the Commonwealth; and to foster a public environment that recognizes and supports the ethnic and cultural diversity of the state.

Network Organizations:

Alliance to Develop Power (ADP)
The Alliance to Develop Power based in Springfield, Massachusetts has undertaken a set of bold initiatives in community organizing, community and economic development and social service delivery. ADP has pursued a model that retains the power and influence associated with organizations that regularly move a membership into action while simultaneously preserving thousands of units of housing, developing a new community-owned business, and creating the structure for a new low wage worker center.

Center for New Americans (CNA)
The Center for New Americans is a non-profit adult education and resource center. CNA provides immigrants, refugees, and migrants in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley with education and resources to learn English, become involved members of their new communities, and obtain necessary tools to maintain economic independence and stability.

Chelsea Collaborative

The Chelsea Collaborative seeks to empower Chelsea residents and Chelsea organizations to enhance the social, environmental and economic health of the community and its people. The Collaborative carries out its mission through community organizing, technical assistance, program development and information dissemination.

United Neighbors of Cleghorn/Cleghorn Neighborhood Center (UNC/CNC)

The United Neighbors of Cleghorn seeks the social, economic, physical, and recreational development of the Cleghorn Section of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Over the past three decades, this group has evolved into the Ward 2 Cleghorn Neighborhood Association. In recent years, the Association has had resurgence in activity and membership and continues to meet regularly.

Community Economic Development Center (CEDC)
CEDC seeks to create a more equal, just economy by linking resources, networks and actions with community members of low economic means. The work done by CEDC is the creation of, and directed by, the people who will benefit most from its success, community members. CEDC challenges economic and political policies, institutions and systems that exclude the full participation of, and access by, all members of community.

Immigrants Assistance Center

The Immigrants Assistance Center helps immigrants overcome language, cultural, social, and economical barriers, and helps immigrants integrate into the American way of life.  Services provided by the Immigrants Assistance Center include: Citizenship Education, Elderly Services, Deportation Support Services, and Gang/Violence Intervention & Prevention.

Irish Immigration Center

The Irish Immigration Center provides legal advice, information, advocacy, referrals and support for immigrants on issues relating to immigration, employment, citizenship, housing and social services. In addition, we are committed to building bridges of understanding and cooperation across cultures, fighting racism and discrimination, advocating for the rights of all immigrants and working in collaboration with other organizations.

Mutual Assistance Association Coalition (MAA Coalition)
Mutual Assistance Association Coalition is a coalition of small ethnic based refugee community organizations.  The mission of the MAA Coalition is to assist newcomers with integration into American society, to promote self-sufficiency, to build bridges with the larger community, and to foster the maintenance of refugee cultural identity.

ONE Lowell

Since its inception in 2001, ONE Lowell has been dedicated to increasing the integration and self sufficiency of Lowell's many newcomers by strengthening civic participation, developing strong leadership and increasing access to vital services.

Roca
Roca is a vision and value-led organization committed to serving the most disenfranchised and disengaged young people ages 14-24 in the communities of Chelsea, Revere, and East Boston, Massachusetts.  In the last nineteen years, Roca has won nationwide respect and recognition for its effective and innovative approaches to helping young people live self-sufficiently and out of harm’s way.
